Vibrant Vocabulary is a small independent children's imprint. We publish one thing and try to do it properly: first-words picture books for children aged 2 to 5, in matched English and Spanish editions.

How the method was built. Every book follows the same five steps — See It. Say It. Remember It. One new word to a page. One thing hidden on that page to find. One moment to say the word out loud together. The order matters: finding creates the moment, and saying the word is what makes it stay. A child who spots the parrot and shouts "parrot!" has done the whole lesson in three seconds.

Why every book comes in two languages. The Spanish editions are not translations bolted on later. Each one is built page for page alongside the English, with the same art and the same hidden things to find, so a bilingual family can read the same book twice and a child meets the second word with the picture already familiar.

What is in every book. Forty pages. Seven new nouns, an action word and a describing word. A handful of early concepts, each taught once and never repeated later in the series. A red object hidden on every page. Activity pages, a pronunciation guide for grown-ups, and a page of five ways to talk about any page with your child.
